Over 20 years in the drilling industry, with exposure to many different facets. From geotechnical bores, monitoring wells, water bores and mineral exploration holes. Up to town and mine water supply wells, and deep artesian bores targeting the Great Artesian Basin.
Over 10 years as the SA Government Drilling Inspector provided a good understanding of government contracts, projects, management plans and interpreting legislation. Time spent on the National Uniform Drillers’ Licensing Committee provided highlights such as being part of the project team for developing the Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia 4th Edition (the current technical standard). Other activities included undertaking reviews and updates of the national written examinations and drilling courses content.
Holding a Class 3 drillers licence (includes Great Artesian Basin) in all States and Territories with Rotary Mud, Rotary Air, Auger, and Sonic endorsements as well as a Certificate IV in Drilling Operation…. TDG can provide the service and knowledge sharing you require.
Specialises in the decommissioning of water bores, monitoring wells, geotechnical wells, old hand dug wells and mineral exploration wells. TDG can undertake all diameters and depths.
Provides onsite supervision for licensed water well activities which require an appropriately licensed driller.
Knowledge sharing, tutoring and assistance to drillers to increase their understanding and knowledge base so that they can progress to the next step in the drillers licensing system.

Licence classes
Class 1 — This licence is restricted to drilling operations in non-flowing (sub-artesian) single aquifer systems.
Class 2 — This licence, in addition to operating in Class 1 conditions, permits
operations in non-flowing (sub-artesian) multiple aquifer systems.
Class 3 — This licence, in addition to operating in Class 1 and Class 2 conditions,
permits drilling operations in flowing (artesian) aquifer systems.
